THE COMPANY STORY OF HEILMAN AUTOMOTIVE

On a cool spring day with rain in the forecast, Mrs. Yassar, knowing her Explorer needed maintenance took a chance and followed the signs into Heilman Automotive. Although she had driven by many times before, this was her first visit. There was no urgency or emergency. This isn't a story about heroics. No, Mrs. Yassar need oil changed and that's all she expected. What makes this a story worth telling is that she was given much more. From the warm friendly greeting to the clean facilities; from the thorough review of her car to the prioritized plan of upkeep; from the timely service to the competitive price, Mrs. Yassar was truly impressed.

Like so many drivers, Mrs. Yassar's car is her connection to the world and even a simple oil change can become a challenge. There are so many things to be done and as many places to go. We could tell by her expression she felt relieved; she felt at ease, she felt respected. The staff of Heilman Automotive had provided an easy solution and began another new relationship.

We founded our business on the power of good relationships - two brothers with a common goal and a synergy that's tough to beat. Relationships are the cornerstone of our company - relationships with each other, with the staff and most importantly, - with our customers. We decided early on to begin each day by giving our best, treating people fairly and sharing our sense of family with the people we met. That strategy has proven over time to be the key to our success.

Sure, we worked hard, as do a lot of people. But, we found that hard work and respect for others attracted the best people to us. Proof of this strategy can be seen in the career of a boy, starting right out of high school as a trainee, who has grown to be a man that can fix anything and has earned the title "A-Rated Master Technician" or the dedication of an employee who, since 1986, has delighted customers with his friendly, kind manner and a punctual dependability by which you can set your watch. Then there is the service manager who redefines customer care. This guy doesn't just handle customers well. He goes the extra mile and does whatever it takes to ensure satisfaction even if it means extending a long day longer to meet the needs of a loyal customer. All of these people have one thing in common. They all value the respect they feel at Heilman Automotive and share that respect with others.

And Mrs. Yassar? She is now a regular customer and knows she can rely on us to keep her moving with exceptional automotive services. But ever more than that, she can expect to be treated like family. As brothers, as employers, and as friends with our customers we know the value of friendship. We are happy with the service environment we have created with our employees and customers.
